PVE 30

To the best of our knowledge, the PVE 30 is the smallest home elevator available world-wide, but its size does not limit its capabilities. The PVE 30 elevator has a 159kg lift capacity and is capable of up to an 11m rise over as many as four stops. With a 760mm outside diameter, there are very few homes that do not have the space to accommodate the PVE 30 single passenger residential elevator.

The PVE 30 home lift was designed as a compact alternative to using the stairs and is ideal for town-homes and tight areas where a traditional residential elevator would not be feasible. The smallest of the three vacuum elevator models only requires a 785mm finished through floor hole to accommodate the elevator cylinders. For balcony/mezzanine style installation, the self-supporting home lift can be installed and secured in place against the upper landing(s) by means of a steel balcony band bolted to the landings. No elevator shaft is required as the self-contained home elevator rests on the existing ground floor. Made of polycarbonate and aluminium, it provides a 360° panoramic view as you travel from floor to floor within the home.

The cabin is equipped with LED lighting as well as a fan that circulates the ambient air throughout the elevator car. Access to the PVE 30 is through same side door openings.

The power supply required for the world’s smallest home elevator is a 220V, dedicated supply with a 32AMP D type circuit breaker, single phase service, such as is common for domestic appliances like washing machines. From an environmental and cost-saving standpoint, the PVE 30 consumes the least of all of the Pneumatic Vacuum Elevator models, and in common with all the PVE models, there is virtually zero-energy consumption on the descent, as this requires no electricity.
